Khushi is a Hindi word that means happiness!

For over 20 years, we’ve been providing education, food, medical help and scholarships. We provide hope for every child who comes through our doors.

We currently support more than 450 kids through the Khushi Charitable Society, and every year we keep growing!

We are dedicated to giving underprivileged children the future they deserve.

Together, with the support of our growing family, we are bringing brighter futures to the children of Rishikesh.

New uniforms

We distributed school uniforms to the students of classes 6th and 9th with the support of one of our donors. Thank you for your help and support. 

School supplies

We distributed school supplies to all our 450 Khushi children. Our kids were so happy to receive these study materials. This included:

• Notebooks, Books, pens, pencils, art notebooks, geometry box and colouring pens. 

Compteitions and prizes!

We are delighted to announce that our talented Khushi students won awards in the group dance, sloka recitation, and fancy dress competition held at Madhuban Ashram.

New tracksuits for all

Thank you, Mr. David Walsh (Canada), for your generous contributions to Khushi Charitable Society. With your kind donation, we gave new track suits to our students. Also, thank you, Diana Alli D'Souza.

Sponsoring Education

We run an extensive after-school program that caters for over 250 children every day. Khushi provides tuition in all the core subjects. We sponsor students through college and university too.

Skills Centre

On the second floor, we have a computer room for IT lessons and a library. On the first floor, we have a classroom where we run various courses. On the ground floor, we have a sewing and crafts workshop.

Health Care

We cover all that would otherwise be insurmountable medical costs here at Khushi. Even the basics, such as dental hygiene, can become an obstacle. That’s why we provide annual dental and medical checkups for our children and cover all other medical bills.
