About Khushi
Khushi is a Hindi word that means happiness!
For over 20 years, Khushi Charitable Society has been dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in Rishikesh through education, nutritious food, medical care, and scholarships.
Every child who comes to Khushi is given not just support, but hope — hope for learning, growth, and a brighter future. Today, we support more than 500 children, ensuring they have access to schooling, healthcare, and a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Our work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and care, regardless of their background. With the support of our growing community of donors, volunteers, and well-wishers, we continue to create lasting change — one child, one family, one future at a time. We cannot do this alone.

Khushi is a Hindi word that means happiness. At Khushi Charitable Society, happiness begins with care — care for children who need support to learn, grow, and thrive. Based in Rishikesh, India, we have been supporting underprivileged children for over twenty years through education, daily nutritious meals, healthcare, and skill development.
Every day, children come to Khushi to study, learn new skills, share meals, and feel supported in a safe and nurturing environment. Our work goes beyond meeting basic needs. We help children build confidence, dignity, and hope for the future.
This is Khushi — a community where compassion becomes action, and where every child is given the opportunity to move forward.

New uniforms

We distributed school uniforms to the students of classes 6th and 9th with the support of one of our donors. Thank you for your help and support.
School supplies
We distributed school supplies to all our 450 Khushi children. Our kids were so happy to receive these study materials. This included:
• Notebooks, Books, pens, pencils, art notebooks, geometry box and colouring pens.
Competitions and Prizes!
We are delighted to announce that our talented Khushi students won awards in the group dance, sloka recitation, and fancy dress competition held at Madhuban Ashram
New Tracksuits for All
