However, I am very fortunate to have received the proper guidance and support to achieve my goals through Khushi Charitable Society. I joined Khushi Charitable Society as a student in 2008 and, over time, have progressed through my personal development, making my life successful.I currently work in the PRD Department. Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD) is a state-level volunteer security force in India.

Neeta Rajbhar

Life has not been an easy journey for Nita Rajbhar. Her story is a testament to her relentless human spirit, the kind filled with resilience to bear the emotional toll of suddenly losing her 42 year old father, Rambhachan, a truck driver, who was the sole income earner, leaving his young widow, Aashadevi, and five children with no assets to depend on, nor was there any governmental aid to help out this grieving family embedded in deeper poverty.

Nita being a middle child was then barely eighteen. She and her four siblings, two older, two younger, were forced to resort to part-time jobs to make ends meet. Nita completed high school at D.B.S. Intercollege in Shisham Jhadi. “I knew that higher education was my ticket to a brighter future, and I was determined to make the most of it.”

It works as an auxiliary unit to assist the police and district administration in maintaining law and order, managing crowds, handling disasters, and supporting various government programs.

For this, I wholeheartedly thank the entire team of Khushi Charitable Society, its teachers, and its project manager, Mr. Kapil Sir. This story isn’t just mine; many children like me have had their lives made successful through Khushi Charitable Society.

Whilst some would call it sheer luck, Mr. Kapil Dev Bist, Project Manager emphasizes “it is her unwavering commitment and unique blend of creative talents that led her to be employed in a well-established boutique store”, in the heart of the bustling market area of Rishikesh. Khushi also hired her as a part-time teacher in the evenings, selected as an incredible role-model to empower young girls and women to reach their full potential. She amplifies with her resolute traits, “we can achieve anything if we refuse to give up on our dreams”. She has embraced it all with grace and tenacity.

Soon to be married in late April, she requests one wish from her future husband “when I move back to my village in Baliya Uttar Pradesh,I would like to own a boutique store.”  He warmly notes this request.

Nita smiles with gratitude stating “I had nothing before. Khushi has imparted invaluable lessons and countless opportunities that have shaped me into who I am today. I feel immensely grateful for all the moral and financial supports availed to me by so many, dedicated teachers and the large extended group of caring advocates and sponsors. I am blessed with an extremely close-knit inspiring family: my amazing mother has been a pillar of strength to us, and my four siblings, one married with a child, have been my rock.”

Today I stand before you, not just as a student, but as a proud graduate. know this achievement is not mine alone.

It belongs to every teacher who guided me, every volunteer who supported me and every donor who believed that children like me deserve a chance.

They gave me mentorship guidance and most importantly – belief. They stepped into my life not with promises, but with real actions: paying my school fees, providing me with books, uniforms and even a healthy meal every day.

More than financial help, they gave me something even greater they believed in me.

Throughout my school years and even into college, Khushi was at my side. They arranged tuition classes, health check-ups, and development programs, making sure I not only studied but grew as a person. skillTo the entire Khushi team you didn’t just help a student – you changed a life. You taught me that where you start in life doesn’t have to decide where you finish.

Thank you not just for funding my education, but for giving me a future filled with hope, opportunities and pride. Without your support, my journey would have been very different.
